FAQ
Plain answers about our studio
Engagement models, tools, rights, timelines and what we deliberately do not offer.
PixelForge is a generative-AI visual studio — a creative services firm, not a product. These answers reflect how we work with Canadian brands on campaign visuals, product visualization and synthetic photography.
Is PixelForgeAI a free image-generator app, a stock library, or do you make deepfakes?
No. We are a generative-AI visual studio — a creative services firm that produces production-ready, on-brand imagery with human art direction and finishing. We are not a self-serve app or SaaS tool, not a stock marketplace, and not a course. We do not create deepfakes or use real people's likeness without consent, and we clarify usage rights on deliverables. "Pixel" means the image; "Forge" means crafting and finishing it; the .pro TLD is branding only.
How do you engage with clients — project, retainer or per-deliverable?
All three. Per-project CAD quotes suit campaigns and one-off visual sets. Per-deliverable pricing works for catalogues and packaging visual batches. Retainers serve Canadian brands with ongoing generative image generation needs — a defined monthly deliverable count, priority turnaround and a dedicated art director. Every model includes written scope, revision rounds and usage-rights terms before work begins.
What are typical CAD budgets?
Focused product visual sets start around C$2,400–C$4,800. Campaign packages with style training range from C$8,000–C$18,000. Catalogue projects are quoted per SKU. Finishing-only work from C$95 per image. Retainers from C$3,200/month for defined deliverable volumes. We provide itemized quotes — no hidden revision fees beyond agreed rounds.
What is your turnaround?
First-round delivery on scoped briefs is typically 48 hours to two weeks depending on complexity. Style training adds one to two weeks. Full campaign packages run two to four weeks. Rush timelines are available at premium rates when studio capacity allows. Turnaround is confirmed in writing at project start.
Which diffusion models and tools do you use?
We select models and editing tools per brief — text-to-image and image-to-image diffusion models, inpainting and outpainting tools, upscaling pipelines, and LoRA fine-tuning workflows. Model selection depends on fidelity needs, style requirements and turnaround. We do not disclose specific vendor names in proposals but document our approach in project notes. Human art direction governs all tool choices.
Who owns the finished images and what are the usage rights?
Clients receive a defined commercial licence per project — channels, territories, duration and sublicensing terms are documented in the deliverable package. PixelForge retains no marketing rights to your imagery without separate consent. We retain rights to our methodologies and any custom style-training models built under NDA. Full terms are in our terms of service.
How do you handle copyright, trademarks and likeness?
We review briefs for potential copyright and trademark conflicts before generation. We do not knowingly produce imagery that infringes third-party IP. Real, identifiable people's likeness is not used without documented consent. We do not create deepfakes. Clients remain responsible for final usage clearance — our licensing documentation is not legal advice.
How do you avoid misleading "real photo" use?
Synthetic imagery is labelled in deliverable notes where context requires disclosure. We do not present AI-generated images as photojournalism or documentary photography. When composites blend photographic and generated elements, we document which is which. Responsible AI is a studio policy, not an afterthought.
How is my data handled under PIPEDA?
Contact form data is used only to respond to your enquiry. Reference images and client materials are stored securely for the project duration plus a defined retention period, then deleted unless otherwise agreed. See our privacy policy for full details, access rights and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner contact.
Are AI outputs human-reviewed?
Always. Every deliverable passes human-in-the-loop review for artefacts, brand consistency, unintended similarities and licensing concerns. AI outputs can contain errors; we catch them before you see final files. Results are not guaranteed — revision rounds exist because generation is iterative, not magical.
What do you NOT do?
We do not operate a self-serve image-generator app, stock library, deepfake service, AI-art course, NFT/crypto mint, get-rich-quick scheme, or explicit/unlawful content production. We are not a photography-only studio with no generative-AI craft. We do not guarantee specific results.
What file formats do you deliver?
Typically PNG and JPG at agreed resolutions; PSD or layered files when scoped. Print-ready PDFs for packaging visual proofs. Raw generation intermediates are available on request. Upscaling to campaign resolution is included in finishing engagements.
